Verification Process
Gabazzo may use Third-Party Services that conduct a Rigorous Screen Process to Screen Company Owners or Contractors/Technicians/Principal and Companies State Filings. We only perform this Screening when a Company applies to Join our Network and gets Verified through Email. If you have any Concerns that the Service Provider in our Network doesn't meet these requirements, please Contact Us to issue an Investigation Report. We're Highly committed to keeping Good Standards on a network for Consumers purchasing Services. Those who DO NOT meet our requirements will be rejected or removed from the Network.
Criminal Background Check
Who does Gabazzo background check?
The Company Owner or Contractor/Technician/Principal of each Company in Gabazzo's Network must pass a Required Background Check. Within the Expansion Gabazzo in the near future we will be requesting Companies to send us Background Checks on every Employee if the Company is receiving a low star rating on our Platform or get Reported by one of our Members. We highly recommend that Owners or Contractor/Technician/Principal work with a Third-Party to background check their own Employees.
What does the background check cover?
We are currently using a Third-Party Service to exploit criminal records search in the State in which the Business Owner or Contractor/Technician/principal works at. The Third-Party Service operates a National Criminal Database ("NCD") to Screen Service Contractors/Technicians/Principal. Companies will not get in the Platform if the Owner or Contractor/Technician/Principal have the following felonies or other Charges in their Criminal Background Records:
- Assault/Domestic Violence/Battery Charges
- Arson
- Child Abuse
- Intimidation/Terrorist Threats
- Kidnapping/Abduction
- Lewd and Lasvicious Behavior
- Manslaughter/Murder/Homicide/Vehicular Homicide
- Rape/Incest
- Robbery/Carjacking
- Sex Offenses
- Other Felonies or Charges not listed above that occurred in the past three years
Ratings
Companies may receive Ratings from Consumers through Gabazzo's Tracking Service System. Once the Company is rated, we are required to maintain an overall average of 3 stars or greater. Gabazzo may also check other Third-Party platforms ratings before letting Contractors in the Platform.
Licensing
We currently only Verify Applicable State-Level Licenses and we Require Companies to have the appropriate Local Licensing to practice their Trade. Within the Near Future, Gabazzo will start to check and confirm local licensing. As we may be working with Third-Party Local Attorneys to help Guide Contractors get their Paperwork done. Gabazzo gives up to 60 days to acquire a State License if working with an Attorney or have proof of submitted Application.
State Business Filings
We will be checking if the Business is in Good Standing and Registered as an Limited Liability Company ("LLC"), Limited Liability Partnership ("LLP"), C - Corporation, S - Corporation, Non Profit, Partnership, or Sole Proprietorship.
